Is Scribbler free?
Yes, every day. The free plan transcribes up to 10 minutes of audio a day with every feature included: no trial, no account, no card. Pro removes the daily limit: €3.99 a month, or €39.99 once, for life. Launch prices.
Which languages does it support?
Many. Transcription is sharpest on widely-spoken languages like English, Italian, Spanish, French, German, and Portuguese. Translation reaches further than transcription does, and the app shows you which languages it can reach from the one you recorded in.
Do I need an internet connection?
Not for transcribing. That runs on your device and works offline. The first time you transcribe in a given language, iOS downloads that language pack, and only that needs a connection.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no login: install it and start transcribing.
What data does the app collect?
Your audio and transcripts stay on your device. Crash reports reach us through Firebase, so bugs get fixed. Usage analytics stays off until you turn it on, at first launch or in Settings. Details in the Privacy Policy.
Does it work on iPad?
Yes. Library on one side, transcript on the other, and everything syncs between your devices.
What does it need?
iOS 26 or later, on an iPhone or iPad that supports on-device speech recognition. If yours cannot, Scribbler says so and the Pro purchase is not offered.
